Raindrops on an orange outside Finca La Carroza

Thank goodness - more rain has indeed fallen and the vegetation thrives. It never ceases to amaze me just how quickly the grasses and wild flowers foliage spurts up with a little rain. The fruit trees were in dire need of water and we were worried that some would not survive as it is not viable to use town water for irrigation throughout the year.

It is a great relief to the region as last week the reservoirs levels were down to 33% but have now risen by almost 10%. It has continued to rain on and off so hopefully next week we will be up to 50%!

You can keep up to date with the current water levels in each region of Spain at
