This festival is one of my favourites. An evening on the beach eating freshly caught sardines as the bonfires are prepared. The weather is usually hot hot hot so an evening dip after leaping over a VERY small bonfire to clease the soul is a fun and refreshing activity for the mid summer solstice (almost!). Then the fireworks are let off and spectacular they are - as there reflections in the water amplify their beauty. Here is a link to the various beaches:
